Rotary clubs of Uganda and Davis & Shirtliff have renewed their strategic partnership, reaffirming a shared commitment to delivering sustainable water, sanitation and energy solutions to communities across Uganda.
The renewed collaboration builds on a highly successful first year that demonstrated the value of combining Rotary's community networks with Davis & Shirtliff's technical expertise to address critical development challenges in schools, health facilities and underserved communities.

Year One Impact
In the first year, the partnership delivered significant results across Uganda, including:
• 12 projects funded and implemented
• More than UGX 380 million invested in community projects
• Over UGX 110 million contributed by Davis & Shirtliff through matching support
• More than 23 Rotary and Rotaract clubs supported with technical guidance on WASH and infrastructure projects
• Free assessments, transportation and installation services provided to participating clubs.
The projects focused on solar water pumping, solar lighting, water treatment and purification systems, helping improve access to clean water, reliable energy and essential services for communities across the country.
Under the renewed partnership that will run up to 2028, Rotary District 9213 and Davis & Shirtliff will continue working together to support schools, health facilities and communities through cost-shared projects, nationwide technical support and expanded engagement with Rotary and Rotaract clubs across Uganda.
With more than 235 Rotary and Rotaract clubs nationwide, the partnership is well positioned to significantly increase its reach and impact, enabling more communities to benefit from sustainable water and energy solutions.
As the partnership enters its second year, Rotary District 9213 and Davis & Shirtliff remain committed to creating lasting change through innovative, sustainable and community-led solutions that improve lives across Uganda.
Together, the two organisations are demonstrating how strategic partnerships can deliver scalable, measurable and lasting community impact.
